Where he started

Sharad wanted a Master's in Sports & Event Management. Few countries offer it. Where it does exist, he found it was either very expensive or a much shorter programme than usual.

The problem

1. Which country? He could not tell whether he would get admission for this degree in the country he preferred.
2. The visa file. Later, some of his documents were not ready on time, and others did not meet the visa requirements.

What we did

• Helped him decide on the course and country, and took him through admission.
• When his documents fell short, the team treated it as urgent. Every document was brought up to the standard the visa needed, quickly.

The result

He was admitted, got his visa and completed his Master's in Germany. When he recorded his video, he was still living there.

Where he started

Chirag knew one thing: he wanted to study in Germany. He asked his cousin, who was already there, and that is how he came to RES.

What the student needed

MBA applications ask for a lot of paperwork, each university wants it differently, and the deadlines don't wait. The student needed someone to handle the documents and keep everything on time.

Where she started

Sneha searched Google for a long time before choosing where to train. She picked RES because of its reviews. She had a good command of English, but no idea what IELTS was about or how to approach it.

The problem

Writing is where most strong English speakers lose their band. The test rewards how you present your answer and how you approach each question type, not just good English.

What we did

• Explained what IELTS is and what the examiner expects, section by section.
• Broke down each component of the test.
• Showed her exactly what to work on in Writing to reach the band she needed.
