Does your VTU syllabus fit a German Master's?
German universities check your subjects, not just your CGPA. See your degree in ECTS and how it compares with the published minimums of German programmes.
Autonomous colleges (RVCE, BMSCE, Ramaiah, PES and others) use their own syllabus, so their numbers will differ.
Your degree in ECTS
VTU's 160 credits are about 240 ECTS, so each VTU credit counts as 1.5 ECTS here. Each university does its own conversion.
German programmes that publish their minimums
25 programmes in your field state their subject minimums in numbers, and we checked each one on its official page. Most of the 333 English-taught programmes in your field don't publish numbers, so they need a module-by-module check.

For a four-year degree without ECTS (like a B.E.), Passau counts this as met if about two-thirds of your credits are computer science.
This is an estimate, not an admission decision
- Courses were sorted into areas by their titles in VTU's official scheme PDFs. A university may count a course differently.
- Universities look at your module descriptions and transcript, and convert credits their own way.
- Electives depend on what you chose. Open the course list above and check yours.
- An English-taught Master's gets you admitted. Getting hired in Germany usually needs German at B2.
